Ali & James: Part II
Do you remember Ali & James' engagement shoot from October? If you don't, you can check it out here. Well, they had a secret that they weren't sharing with me that day: they just found out they were expecting! They had their wedding all planned, and Ali had found THE DRESS. They were all set to go for their January 2018 wedding in the Carribean, and the day after she bought that dress, she found out that she was pregnant!
Since their photo shoot six months ago, they have been on an absolute whirlwind. They had to scramble to find a new home and they moved in with James' parents while they took care of remodeling the house. They gutted the entire house from floor to ceiling, down to the studs, and they handled the majority of the work themselves. They did all this while dealing with speed bumps like exploding radiators and floods, and to add to that James then got the flu and had to be quarantined from Ali. And oh yeah, they had to reschedule and replan their entire wedding!
Their little peanut is due to arrive in only seven short weeks, and their wedding is planned for next summer at the Botanical Center of Roger Williams featured in the photo above. To their wedding guests: don't be surprised if they're late! They got lost multiple times last night trying to find their way because 'they couldn't remember where they were getting married'! #notajoke. We'll cut them some slack given how crazy their lives have been these past few months, but I have a feeling it's probably not going to slow down any time soon!
I'm so excited to see what the future holds for these two, as they are some of the warmest, most genuine people I've met and they deserve all the greatness that life has to offer. Their little girl is going to be brought up in a home that is full of love and laughter, and I can't think of a greater wish for one to have. Congratulations to you all!
