Senior Photos at Duxbury Beach | Annalise’s Summer Session

Every season there’s a session for me that reminds me why I love photography so much….and Annalise’s senior session at Duxbury Beach was exactly that.

We had SO much fun on this session! We also added on a family mini session that included a few shots of her family, including her twin sisters, they were a delight! They each brought their own personalities and I had so much in even just the short time I worked with them.

I meet all clients virtually for a session planning meeting prior to the session. We talk through location ideas and stying tips - which is SO important, as your looks will have a much bigger impact on the feel of your images than your location choice ever will.

During our session planning call, I all but beg seniors to bring a long dress (I’m not above begging, folks!), but no one ever has…until Annalise.

The movement of that dress along the shoreline photographed so beautifully, and it ended up creating some of my favorite images EVER.

I was so grateful that Annalise trusted me throughout this session. She didn’t think twice about jumping into the water and splashing all over her dress - and the results? They speak for themselves!

We went WAY overtime — and if you look closely, you’ll notice the moon made an appearance in several images. We wanted to utilize every bit of light we had and take advantage of the beautiful summer evening.

It was such a joy photographing your senior photos at Duxbury Beach, Annalise. I’m so grateful for the trust that you and your family placed in me throughout the session. I absolutely loved working with your mom as well — as she made the entire experience even more fun!

I’m excited that I’ll have the opportunity to photograph Annalise’s twin sisters for their senior sessions next year as well! Getting to work with families more than once is one of the greatest compliments I can receive as a photographer, and I legitimately can’t wait for their turn in front of the camera.
