Easton, MA Senior Photos | Logan's Senior Session at Duxbury Beach
Though we had to postpone Logan's original senior photo session because of the weather, we absolutely lucked out with the rain date. The evening we spent at Duxbury Beach couldn't have been more perfect! The light was beautiful, it wasn’t overly hot, and it was one of those sessions that honestly remind me why I love photographing high school seniors.
Logan is a senior inEaston, Massachusetts, and she was an absolute delight to photograph. I loved hearing about her summer jobs (this girl is definitely not afraid of hard work!) and learning about her plans after graduation. She's considering a career designing prosthetics for animals—a path that's as unique as it is compassionate . One of my favorite parts of these sessions is the conversations that I have with the seniors. They are so excited of what lies ahead for them!
We arrived a bit early and spent some time hiding from the bright afternoon sun while waiting for the perfect light. During that time...we somehow witnessed a hit-and-run. An older woman drove right into a car…backed up, and took off like it never happened. Yes, really! It's safe to say that's a first in all my years photographing senior sessions.
One of the reasons I continue recommending Duxbury Beach for senior photos is that it never feels repetitive. Even after photographing there countless times, I always seem to discover a backdrop I've somehow overlooked. I think that's one of the benefits of becoming so familiar with a location. During your first visit, you're naturally drawn to the obvious scenic spots. As you return year after year, you begin noticing the quieter, less obvious locations that make every gallery feel unique.
Many seniors choose destinations like Duxbury Beach because it offers such incredible variety—from dunes and beach grass to the throwback restaurant, and certainly the iconic wooden bridge—all within a reasonable drive.
Logan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this exciting chapter of your life. Your beautiful smile, kind personality, and excitement for the future made this session such a joy. I hope your senior year is filled with the most incredible memories, and I wish both you and your mom the very best as you celebrate everything this year has in store.
