Hi, I’m Courtney!

I’m a natural light photographer with a focus on working with families and high school seniors. I find such joy in having a camera in my hands, and my goal is for you to have fun and ultimately feel completely relaxed while you’re on the other side of it. My passion for photography was rooted early on in my life. I recall sneaking into my grandfather's room when I was young and was mesmerized by his old cameras. There was one I was especially drawn to.  It was wrapped in leather and there was something so special about the way that it felt in my hands. Years later he passed it down to me, and while it doesn’t hold much monetary value, it is invaluable to me.

I bought my first SLR camera in 1998, and from that moment on, I've felt a strong pull to grow as a photographer and a desire to produce beautiful images. It started simply as a way take snapshots of every day life and to preserve special occasions. And it morphed into a greater desire to create authentic moments for other families, and help them preserve special moments and memories. I take incredible pride in being able to capture a singular moment in time, one that is full of raw emotion, and in my knowing that it has been preserved forever. 

I would describe myself as someone with a passionate and enthusiastic personality, and one who strives for authenticity. I feel so blessed for this crazy life I’ve been given. When I’m not behind the camera capturing other people’s families, I especially enjoy spending time with my own crew including my husband Bill, my daughters Erin and Abby, and our two four-legged family members, Ren and Maverick. ☺️
