Senior Photos at Duxbury Beach | Avery’s Summer Session

I had the most incredible evening at Duxbury Beach with Avery and her mom capturing Avery’s senior photos.

I was especially excited when her mom reached out to book because I had previously photographed Avery’s older sister—and working with their family again was such an honor. It’s always meaningful when a family chooses to work with you once, but when they come back a second time?! That’s something truly special and never taken for granted.

No matter how many times I photograph at a location—and I can confidently say I’ve photographed Duxbury Beach countless times—I always find something new. Each session brings different light, different energy, and fresh perspectives that make every senior session feel completely unique.

Avery was an absolute trooper from start to finish. Just as we were wrapping up, I spotted the restaurant in the background on our walk back and had to grab a few more shots. Even though I had promised her we were done about ten minutes earlier, she graciously agreed.

A quick note to all future seniors: never trust a photographer when they say it’s the last shot. While we are well-intentioned…it’s never, ever, ever the last one!

Between the soft light, the coastal scenery, and Avery’s calm confidence in front of the camera, this session was such a beautiful reminder of why I love senior photography so much.
