Family sessions aren’t about perfect behavior or everyone looking at the camera at the same moment. I expect the kids I photograph to show up as they are — curious, energetic, and playful!
We’ll leave space for movement, laughter, and connection, while I guide the session in a way that keeps things fun, natural, and stress-free. These are the moments families look back on — grateful they were preserved just as they were.
Session Planning Call
Because extended family sessions involve multiple households, we’ll begin with a personalized planning call to ensure everything feels seamless on session day.
We’ll talk through location options, timing, styling guidance, and how to best structure the session so it flows smoothly and allows space for real interaction. I’ll also help set expectations so everyone knows what to expect — which makes a huge difference when multiple generations are involved.
By the end of our call, you’ll have a clear plan and the confidence of knowing of knowing you don’t need to figure any of this out on your own!
Shoot Day
On session day, we’ll spend ample time on location capturing a variety of groupings while keeping the experience relaxed, efficient, and fun!
I’ll guide the session with clear direction and guidance— moving through each grouping smoothly while leaving room for connection, laughter, and those in-between moments that make extended family photos feel alive.
You’ll never need to worry about who goes where, how to pose, or whether things are moving along — that’s my job. My goal is to create images that feel natural and meaningful — and to have everyone leave thinking, “I’m so glad we did this.”
Gallery Delivery
You won’t have to wait long to see your images. Within a week of your session, I’ll share a small preview so you can enjoy a first look while the rest of your gallery is being finalized.
Your full online gallery will be delivered within three weeks. It will include every image I feel best represents your family — thoughtfully edited and ready for you to download, share, and print wherever you’d like. There are no image limits and no additional costs.
Rather than narrowing your experience down to a small handful of favorites, you’ll receive a full gallery of all of my favorite images of your session— without the pressure of you having to choose what to keep.
Professional print options are available through me if you’d like guidance on heirloom-quality artwork, but there’s never an obligation to purchase.
